The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with compensation of $25.50–$31.50 per hour. Misericordia supports more than 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities, helping residents maximize their potential and meet individual needs. This role coordinates and develops individualized resident programs, supports personal goals and independence, and works with families and an interdisciplinary team to help residents receive appropriate care and participate in meaningful activities.

What you'll do

• Oversee resident programs, goals, activities, and community outings
• develop and implement individualized programs
• support residents in building independence and pursuing personal goals
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor and adjust programs
• advocate for residents’ rights and well-being
• provide staff direction and physical care as needed.
