What you'll do

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• use and inspect rigging equipment
• identify and install fasteners, anchors, gaskets, bearings, packing, seals, couplings, and shims
• install belt and chain drives
• identify conveyors, pumps, turbines, fans, blowers, compressors, and gearboxes
• troubleshoot, inspect, install, and remove pumps
• and perform other trade duties assigned by a supervisor.
