Job overview

The Accountant role is onsite in Fort Lupton, CO, with an annual salary of $75,000–$90,000. Golden Aluminum is working on projects intended to support a greener, decarbonized aluminum industry. Reporting to the Controller, this role helps ensure accurate and complete financial records and supports cash management, accounting, payroll, reporting, and monthly and year-end close activities. The work provides timely financial information for business decisions.

What you'll do

• Maintain daily bank reconciliations
• forecast cash requirements and request disbursements
• prepare weekly Borrowing Base Certificates
• monitor cash activity and banking relationships
• apply customer payments and resolve unapplied cash
• reconcile deposits, receipts, and customer accounts
• invoice customers
• prepare journal entries and balance-sheet reconciliations
• support month- and year-end close, use-tax returns, payroll, audits, and accounting records
• analyze transactions and recommend process improvements
• document procedures and strengthen controls
• cross-train and provide Accounts Payable backup.
