The engineer owns the X-BAT flight control system, developing and validating stable, predictable performance across flight phases and integrating controls with vehicle systems to support safe, robust flight operations.

What you'll do

• Design flight controls and control-allocation strategies
• lead high-fidelity six-degree-of-freedom simulation development
• define and execute verification, Monte Carlo, disturbance, sensitivity, degraded-operation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing
• diagnose simulation-to-flight mismatches
• support flight tests
• integrate controls with propulsion, aerodynamics, actuation, sensors, state estimation, and autonomy
• mentor engineers.
