Crisis Intervention Specialist

The Crisis Intervention Specialist role combines virtual service with face-to-face work in the community in Greencastle, IN. Compensation is $24 per hour. Cummins Behavioral Health Systems provides crisis services with an interdisciplinary team that includes peer recovery specialists, therapists, and community emergency response partners. What you'll do

• Provide telephonic or walk-in risk and crisis screens and assessments
• deliver mobile crisis interventions with community partners, law enforcement, EMTs, or individuals
• develop and implement individualized safety and prevention plans
• coordinate hospitalization
• provide community referrals for housing, medical care, and social services
• complete crisis documentation in the electronic health record.
