The role contributes to coordinated behavioral healthcare through collaboration with midlevel providers and the hospital's therapists, nursing staff, and case managers.

What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult and geriatric inpatients
• manage inpatient and PHP/IOP treatment plans
• administer and oversee ECT
• provide psychiatric consultations
• supervise and collaborate with midlevel providers
• teach and mentor psychiatry residents as GME faculty
• collaborate with healthcare professionals
• maintain clinical documentation
• participate in shared call coverage.
