Compensation is $23 per hour. The Emergency Response Paramedic is an onsite position located in Oakland Park, FL. 07 plus experience-based adjustments. This role supports the emergency medical services team at AMR, contributing to the company's mission of providing high-quality patient care. The role exists to provide both basic and advanced medical care to patients in emergency situations. The Paramedic acts as a team leader, managing scenes and units while ensuring professional communication with patients, families, and other public safety personnel.

What you'll do

• Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and suction devices.
• Provide advanced medical care and intravenous fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Act as team leader for scene and unit management.
• Drive ambulances on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain company image.
