What you'll do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes
• plan machining strategies from work orders, drawings, and engineering plans
• set tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
• install and indicate workholding and tooling
• load stock, monitor cuts, and adjust or reprogram to meet specifications
• complete first-article and in-process inspections
• document production and quality results
• perform preventive maintenance and follow safety procedures.
