Director of Strategic Finance

The Director of Strategic Finance is an onsite, full-time role at Triumph’s headquarters in San Francisco, CA, paying $230,000–$275,000 per year. Triumph builds skill gaming and digital collectibles experiences, including Arcade and Rips, and the role reports to the CFO. As the company’s first dedicated strategic finance leader, this role builds budgeting, forecasting, and planning capabilities to support growth and inform decisions across the business. It partners with executives and functional leaders to connect resources and operating plans with company priorities.

What you'll do

• Design and run the annual operating plan and budget
• establish planning calendars and budget ownership
• build rolling forecasts, a 12–24 month outlook, three-statement models, scenarios, and cash forecasts
• define and track unit economics with the data team
• connect hiring plans to budgets
• deliver monthly budget-versus-actual reporting and analyze margins, marketing spend, and initiatives
• partner with executives and functional leaders on resource allocation
• prepare board and investor financial updates
• implement planning tools and repeatable processes
• partner with Accounting on accurate actuals
• hire and develop an analyst and grow the Strategic Finance team as the company scales.
