What you'll do

• Assist with surgical operations under supervision
• prepare the operating room and instruments
• open sterile packs using sterile technique
• ensure equipment is functioning
• maintain records of medications, specimens, implants, and fluids used
• pass sterile supplies
• assist with patient positioning and transfer to PACU when needed
• clean and restock the operating room.
