What you'll do

• Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, interactions, and allergies
• prepare, compound, and dispense medications under protocols and physician orders
• counsel patients and caregivers on medication use and safety
• monitor medication regimens and adverse reactions
• collaborate with physicians on adjustments
• participate in multidisciplinary rounds
• maintain medication inventory and proper storage and disposal
• comply with pharmacy regulations and controlled-substance documentation
• participate in professional development.
