What you'll do

• Serve meals according to resident dietary needs, portion guidelines, and meal schedules
• assist with food preparation, portioning, and distribution of meals, snacks, beverages, and nourishments
• clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas, equipment, dishes, utensils, and workspaces
• operate dietary equipment and record temperatures
• assist with inventory, stocking, receiving, and food storage
• transport meal carts and food trucks
• accommodate resident preferences and special dietary requests when possible
• follow food safety, infection control, HIPAA, safety, and facility procedures
• report equipment issues, hazards, accidents, and resident concerns.
