What you'll do

• Blast steel and other metal parts using blasting equipment and media
• clean and prepare surfaces
• follow shop schedules and job travelers
• mask threads and plug holes as needed
• move products with forklifts, cranes, or carts
• perform preventive equipment maintenance
• inspect finished parts against customer specifications
• maintain a safe, clean work area
• enter times and close completed jobs
• work required overtime when needed.
