What you'll do

• Verify or code surgery from operative reports
• bill professional and facility charges
• submit electronic claims and address rejections
• post insurance payments manually and electronically
• work insurance receivables, denials, and appeals
• manage patient receivables and statements
• follow collection protocols
• post and reconcile patient payments and establish payment plans
• scan and file insurance EOBs
• collaborate with billing representatives.
