Director of Business Development

The Director of Business Development role is onsite in Bend, OR. Base compensation is $100,000–$130,000 per year, with up to $140,000 for exceptional candidates; stated on-target earnings are $160,000–$210,000, plus stock options. Enervee’s platform helps households choose efficient products and helps utilities meet energy-efficiency program goals. The director owns new business growth by developing utility accounts and implementer partnerships, shaping proposals and pricing, and bringing technical platform knowledge to complex sales. The role builds a qualified pipeline and transitions accounts to the delivery team at the scoping stage.

What you'll do

• Engage utility decision-makers to win portfolio-level accounts
• pursue implementer-led and performance-based opportunities, including RFPs
• shape proposals and pricing with company leadership and finance
• build implementer and partner relationships
• represent Enervee at meetings and industry events
• hand off accounts to delivery during scoping
• share market and competitor insights internally
• explain platform capabilities and integrations
• use AI tools to research opportunities, track RFPs and renewals, and support proposals.
