What you'll do

• Operate industrial saws to cut materials to specified dimensions
• read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• measure and mark materials
• verify material type, dimensions, and quantities
• inspect incoming materials and report defects
• inspect completed cuts against dimensional and quality specifications
• perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and equipment inspections.
