IT Systems & Support Specialist

Job overview

The IT Systems & Support Specialist role is onsite in Tupelo, MS, with compensation of $22–$30 per hour. The position provides day-to-day technology support for a manufacturing operation. The specialist helps keep employees productive and technology services dependable by resolving hardware, software, operating system, and network issues. The role combines Tier 2 or Tier 3 end-user support with equipment deployment, account administration, infrastructure troubleshooting, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Respond to employee IT requests through ticketing, phone, email, or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
• Configure and maintain computers, mobile devices, printers, phones, and applications.
• Manage Active Directory accounts and access requests.
• Support remote access, conference room technology, and video conferencing.
• Assist network and systems administrators with infrastructure and network troubleshooting, maintain IT inventories, support employee onboarding and departures, document resolutions, and follow technology and cybersecurity policies.
