What you'll do

• Lead preconstruction planning and define scope, design intent, and objectives
• recommend project delivery methods
• identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks
• coordinate outside designers, estimators, and construction operations
• review designs for constructability, phasing, safety, and lifecycle cost
• confirm compliance with codes, standards, client requirements, and federal criteria
• oversee value engineering
• support estimates and validate quantities and assumptions
• lead preconstruction schedules
• contribute to proposals
• coordinate handoff to construction.
