Survey Technician — 3D Laser Scanning and Point Cloud

The technician assists with laser scanning, point cloud processing, and surveying to capture and organize spatial data for BIM modeling, design verification, and as-built documentation. The role supports accurate project data and deliverables through field coordination, file organization, quality checks, and equipment care.

What you'll do

• Assist with terrestrial 3D laser scanning
• support point cloud registration and processing using Leica Cyclone and NavVis Ivion
• assist with control, topographic, and existing-conditions surveys
• coordinate field activities
• organize project files and support QA/QC
• prepare scan data for design and documentation workflows
• maintain equipment and follow field safety procedures
• travel to project sites as needed.
