Seasonal Gift Assistant, Farm Retail Stand (Summer 2027)

The Seasonal Gift Assistant role is onsite in Nantucket, MA, from mid-June through the end of August 2027. Pay is $22–$24 per hour. The position supports Bartlett OceanView Farm’s retail stand under the supervision of the Gift Manager. The assistant serves customers and maintains product displays, inventory, and the cleanliness of the retail space. The role contributes to an orderly, helpful shopping experience and supports the Farm’s retail operations.

What you'll do

• Answer customer questions and direct customers to products
• keep the Farm stand clean and orderly
• process incoming orders, unpack and price products, and back-stock items
• maintain and rotate displays
• place certain reorders and alert the Gift Manager when stock is low
• maintain informational signage
• may assist with bagging groceries, sweeping, organizing, cart retrieval, or gift basket delivery.
