What you'll do

• Complete paid on-the-job training to prepare for HERS Rater certification
• conduct home energy audits under RESNET/Energy Star guidelines
• inspect materials and control assemblies
• collect data on equipment, ductwork, insulation, framing, air sealing, and ventilation
• perform blower-door, ventilation, duct-leakage, airflow, and pressure testing
• adjust system settings to specifications
• prepare electronic audit reports and internal paperwork
• maintain equipment
• complete other assigned third-party inspections
• develop professional relationships with builders and code officials.
