Corporate Mine Planning Engineer This is a hybrid position based in Fort Worth, TX, with a salary range of $95,540.00 – $127,379.99 per year. Heidelberg Materials is a global supplier of building materials. This role involves developing short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans, including pit shell designs, stripping plans, waste development plans, and reclamation plans, as well as preparing geological models and performing resource and reserve estimations.

What you'll do

• Develop short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans, including pit shell designs, stripping plans, waste development plans, and reclamation plans.
• Prepare geological models and perform resource and reserve estimations.
• Develop life-of-mine plans with phased development schedules, milestones, and cost inputs.
• Provide design parameters and volume calculations to support capital and acquisition projects.
• Collaborate with regional management, geologists, project managers, and engineers to evaluate mineral quantity and quality.
• Ensure mine plans align with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company objectives.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of mine planning or mining engineering experience
