The Health Law Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney role is office-based approximately 60% of the time, with locations listed in Boston, MA; New York, NY; or Washington, D.C. The salary range is $260,000–$365,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility. The attorney joins a highly regarded Am Law 100 firm’s national healthcare transactions practice. The associate advises healthcare providers, private equity-backed organizations, and other clients on complex healthcare transactions. The role manages deal work from diligence and document negotiation through closing, coordinating legal teams and addressing transactional and regulatory issues.

What you'll do

  • Handle healthcare acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and joint ventures
  • draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents
  • conduct and report on legal and regulatory due diligence
  • manage deal processes and coordinate teams through closing
  • communicate with clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, and transaction professionals
  • lead smaller transactions and designated work on larger deals
  • manage deal team members and specialists
  • collaborate across practice areas and provide practical legal advice.
