The manager leads the perception data organization across data science, data engineering, and data labeling. The role builds the data discovery, annotation, training, and evaluation loop that helps improve model performance, with a focus on surfacing rare and safety-critical driving scenarios and partnering with machine learning, metrics, evaluation, and infrastructure teams.

What you'll do

• Own the perception data flywheel from fleet signals and model behavior through data discovery, curation, enrichment, training, evaluation, and measurement
• lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of 10 or more
• automate annotation and labeling
• develop data-mining approaches for rare and safety-critical scenarios
• define log selection, storage, and retrieval
• measure data value and connect curated data to model performance.
