What you'll do

• Provide professional care to patients and clients
• communicate with clients, doctors, and team members and route inquiries
• assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
• safely restrain animals using low-stress handling
• administer medications, prepare vaccines, collect lab samples, and perform basic lab tests as directed
• enter treatment plans and maintain medical records
• educate clients on vaccinations, medications, and treatment protocols
• enter charges and assist with checkout
• keep exam rooms and treatment areas clean and stocked.
