What you'll do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on adult patients. Collect, label, and process urine, oral fluid, and blood specimens according to lab protocols
• verify patient identity and requisition information
• maintain chain-of-custody documentation where required. Centrifuge, aliquot, package, and prepare specimens for transport
• enter patient and specimen data into the lab information system. Maintain clean, stocked collection areas and follow OSHA, infection-control, CLIA, HIPAA, safety, and quality policies.
