Interim IT Director

The Interim IT Director role is onsite in Washington, DC, Monday–Friday, five days per week, with compensation of $70–$95 per hour. Addison Group is partnering with a mission-driven public policy nonprofit headquartered in Washington, DC. The role provides hands-on technology leadership, aligning strategy and operations with the organization’s mission. It leads the IT team and oversees cybersecurity, responsible AI governance, infrastructure, enterprise systems, budgets, and vendor relationships.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a multiyear technology roadmap
• advise leadership on technology investments, cybersecurity, data governance, and emerging technology
• lead and develop the IT team
• improve cybersecurity safeguards and incident response
• establish responsible AI governance and vendor review standards
• oversee cloud services, networks, devices, collaboration tools, and enterprise systems
• manage technology budgets and vendor contracts
• support day-to-day technology operations.
