Shift Leader

The Shift Leader role is onsite in Portales, NM. The stated pay range is $13.50–$14.50 per hour. The role reports to the Restaurant Leader and supervises shift team members in restaurant operations. The role exists to ensure safety and quality standards while leading and coaching the team to deliver service. It coordinates shift execution, resolves conflicts, and holds team members accountable for assigned tasks.

What you'll do

• Ensure safety and quality standards
• verify handwashing and complete food safety checklists
• coach team members through conflicts
• hold team members accountable for zone tasks
• conduct zone walks and assessments
• review deployment charts
• execute back-of-house shift changes
• plan team breaks
• post daily goals and use the SWS form
• ensure dishes and back-of-house areas are clean.
