Precision CNC Programmer/Machinist — Haas and Fanuc

The Precision CNC Programmer/Machinist role is onsite in Canfield, OH, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Compensation is based on experience; no numeric pay range is specified. The role supports Dunaway’s in-house machining capabilities for equipment and systems serving the aluminum extrusion industry. The machinist programs and operates CNC and manual equipment to produce precise components, interpreting drawings and maintaining dimensional accuracy. Collaboration on setups and process improvements helps increase throughput while preserving the job shop’s quality standards.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate 3–4 axis CNC mills and/or 2-axis CNC lathes
• program at the machine using G-code and conversational tools
• perform manual machining on vertical or horizontal mills and manual lathes when needed
• read and interpret technical drawings
• collaborate with peers to improve processes
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
