Preschool Lead Teacher

The Preschool Lead Teacher role is onsite in Tualatin, OR. Pay is $19.94–$24.00 per hour. The school’s educators work to support children’s growth through a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The lead teacher plans and delivers curriculum, leads classroom operations, and supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs, including those with Individualized Education Plans. The role also partners with families and colleagues and maintains compliance with licensing, safety, and supervision requirements.

What you'll do

• Create an inclusive classroom
• build relationships and communicate with children’s families
• respond to developmental and learning needs, including implementing IEPs and behavioral support plans as required
• plan and document curriculum
• maintain safe supervision
• report incidents and escalated behaviors
• follow policies and licensing requirements
• participate in required training and meetings.
