Triage Nurse

What you'll do

• Assess and triage walk-in patients and scheduled patients when needed
• use evidence-based guidelines and protocols to recommend appropriate care
• document assessments, advice, and follow-up plans in the EHR
• collaborate with providers and clinic staff
• educate patients
• escalate urgent or emergent situations
• coordinate appointments, referrals, and transportation when necessary
• maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA
• participate in quality improvement and staff training
• support clinic flow and provide direct care as needed.

Why this role

Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN or LPN license in the state of practice; BLS and ACLS certification; 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
