The Rigging 1, Travel role is onsite in Caroline County, VA, with travel of up to 75%. Pay is $32.00 per hour. The role supports M.C. Dean’s Modular Mission Critical campus, which produces modular products for data centers and critical infrastructure. The rigger performs routine lifts using approved instructions and standard configurations, ensuring equipment and loads are handled safely. The role inspects and selects rigging gear, verifies capacity, signals crane operators when designated, guides loads into place, and stops and escalates conditions outside routine criteria.

What you'll do

• Review routine lift instructions
• establish exclusion zones and verify crew positions and landing areas
• inspect slings, shackles, hooks, eyebolts, chain hoists, and lifting devices
• select rigging that matches known loads and rated capacity
• build standard hitches
• conduct controlled test lifts
• signal crane operators when designated and qualified
• guide and land loads safely
• stop and escalate nonroutine or changed conditions
• communicate status and handoff needs
• help Rigging Helpers learn safe practices.
