Pharmacist, Home Infusion

Job overview

The Pharmacist role is onsite in Oklahoma City, OK, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; pay is $65–$70 per hour. The pharmacist reports to the Pharmacy Manager and supports Amerita’s home infusion pharmacy team. The pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care for home-care patients by evaluating drug therapy, coordinating referrals and admissions, reviewing orders, monitoring treatment outcomes, and consulting with patients and care professionals. The role also supports sterile compounding, pharmacy quality and compliance, and technician oversight as required by pharmacy rules.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and monitor drug therapy in collaboration with healthcare professionals
• follow pharmacy policies, laws, and accreditation standards
• coordinate referrals and admissions
• review and verify patient orders
• assess patient, drug, and disease information
• monitor therapy outcomes
• consult with patients, families, and clinicians
• document clinical activities
• check medications, supplies, and equipment
• compound sterile mixtures using aseptic technique where permitted
• maintain clean-room compliance
• oversee pharmacy technician functions as required.
