What you'll do

• Administer, monitor, and discontinue IV therapies in homes or infusion suites
• insert and manage peripheral lines, PICCs, ports, and midlines
• monitor for adverse reactions and respond to changes in condition
• perform venipuncture and collect ordered blood samples
• complete patient assessments, vital signs, and reviews of systems
• educate patients and caregivers on therapy, line care, and symptom monitoring
• teach home infusion when applicable
• coordinate visit schedules and communicate outcomes
• document care, medications, and patient responses
• communicate concerns to physicians and clinical leadership
• follow confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards.
