The Data Scientist I — Financial & Time Series Forecasting role is onsite in Norco, CA, with compensation of $34.62–$45.67 per hour. The position develops, validates, and maintains forecasting models and the data pipelines that support them. It contributes reliable, documented analytical findings and forecasts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Support development and evaluation of statistical and time-series forecasting models, including ARIMA, Prophet, regression, and tree-based models
• write and maintain Python scripts to extract, clean, join, and transform financial data
• execute model validation workflows using RMSE, MAE, and MAPE
• identify data-quality and data-leakage issues
• assist with quantitative feature engineering
• conduct exploratory data analysis and document sources, assumptions, transformations, results, and limitations
• prepare reports and visualizations
• comply with defense security and data-handling protocols.
