What you'll do

• Collect blood from inpatient and outpatient patients, including by finger stick, heel stick, and venipuncture
• interpret provider orders and enter tests
• identify and label specimens
• complete collection rounds and timed draws
• process, batch, and route specimens
• handle laboratory clerical tasks, supplies, and equipment
• support staff training and laboratory operations.

Why this role

Includes a weekend rotation of up to every third weekend; Monday–Friday 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m., with specified Saturday and Sunday hours. Requires 2–5 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of a medical assistant, phlebotomy, or equivalent program. BLS proof is required within 90 days; national phlebotomy certification is preferred.
