The Associate General Counsel is an onsite, full-time role in Boston, MA, with base compensation of $225,000 to $260,000 annually, depending on experience. Daymark Health provides personalized cancer care through care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health care, and social resources. As Daymark’s first in-house lawyer, this role builds the legal function and advises the CEO and senior leadership as the company expands its provider footprint and value-based contracts. The work spans corporate governance, healthcare regulatory matters, contracting, privacy and security, employment, insurance, intellectual property, and legal frameworks for artificial intelligence.

What you'll do

• Serve as company-wide general counsel on governance, board matters, entity maintenance, M&A support, and commercial contracts
• advise on corporate practice of medicine and multi-state provider structures
• support payer and value-based care agreements and resolve payer disputes
• select and manage outside counsel
• advise on healthcare fraud and abuse, licensure, scope of practice, telehealth, and privacy
• own data privacy and security compliance
• partner on AI governance
• negotiate vendor, technology, SaaS, partnership, and licensing agreements
• manage multi-state employment matters, insurance programs, and IP protection.
