The Maintenance Technician II, Unmanned Aircraft Systems role is onsite in Dallas, TX. Compensation is $26–$39 per hour. The role supports Shield AI’s mission of protecting service members and civilians with intelligent systems, maintaining V-BAT unmanned aircraft systems and associated ground support equipment. The technician performs inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance documentation to help ensure aircraft reliability, safety, and mission readiness. The role also works with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance practices and support accurate, safe work.

What you'll do

• Conduct organizational-level maintenance on V-BAT unmanned aircraft systems and ground support equipment
• inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft systems and components
• follow technical manuals, work instructions, drawings, inspection criteria, torque specifications, and service bulletins
• document maintenance actions
• construct wiring harnesses and solder components
• support maintenance instruction and checklist development
• coordinate with engineering, quality, production, flight operations, supply chain, and field support
• follow tool control, FOD, HAZMAT, ESD, and safety programs.
