Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Clackamas, OR, with hourly pay of $18.12–$23.50. Cadence Education provides early-childhood education through research-based curriculum in supportive, home-like environments. The teacher supports daily classroom operations and curriculum delivery, helping create a safe, nurturing environment for children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs. The role also builds positive relationships with children and families and follows safety and licensing requirements.

What you'll do

• Support an inclusive classroom environment
• greet children and families
• respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral plans as directed
• support the Lead Teacher with curriculum and programs
• communicate with families and coworkers
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document and report incidents
• support behavior management
• participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.
