Histotechnologist Day Shift

The Histotechnologist is an onsite role based in Georgetown, SC. Compensation is not specified for this position. Tidelands Health is the region's largest health care provider, supporting patients across more than 70 locations. This role exists to complete routine histology procedures, including embedding, microtomy, and staining. The histotechnologist contributes to the team by ensuring high-quality slide preparation to assist pathologists in diagnostic processes.

What you'll do

• Complete embedding, microtomy, H&E staining, and coverslipping.
• Process non-gyn cytology specimens.
• Perform special and IHC staining.
• Assist with frozen sections and FNA procedures.
• Accession pathology specimens.
• Document QC.
• Maintain lab equipment.

What we're looking for

Education

Associate's Degree in Histology or Biological Science.

Experience

Minimum two years direct lab tech experience.
