Job overview

The Cabinet Shop CNC Programmer and Operator role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN. Compensation is $22–$29 per hour. The position supports Volumod's cabinet and millwork division, which produces frameless cabinets for modular housing. The role programs and operates CNC equipment to produce accurate cabinet components and keep production moving. By interpreting plans, checking quality, maintaining equipment, and meeting production goals, the operator supports the company's modular construction process and its production of affordable housing.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• program and nest parts
• operate the Biesse Rover AS FT machine with a vacuum tube lift system
• inspect parts for accuracy and quality
• monitor and adjust machine operations
• perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• communicate production issues, material needs, and quality concerns
• maintain a clean, safe work area
• meet production goals and timelines.
