CDL Driver — Waste Collection

Job overview

The CDL Driver role is onsite in Vestal, NY. Pay is $25–$28 per hour. Casella Waste Systems provides waste removal services to residential and commercial customers on designated routes. The driver safely operates assigned collection trucks and provides timely, courteous service. The role supports route completion and community service through vehicle inspections, receptacle emptying, accurate paperwork, and communication about incidents or service interruptions.

What you'll do

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• safely operate rear-load, front-load, side-load, and roll-off trucks
• provide courteous customer service
• complete required paperwork and route sheets
• empty receptacles and clean accidental spills
• report service interruptions, incidents, accidents, property damage, and unsafe situations.
