What you'll do
- Prioritizes work appropriately and completes assignments in a timely fashion.
- Completes all required documentation with special attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrates competency in proper airway care including, as applicable: airway suctioning, oral and nasal airway care, cuff pressure monitoring, and extubation.
- Demonstrates competency in the performance of routine patient assessment and in the ability to correctly recognize and interpret respiratory dysfunction.
- Performs quality control procedures, as required.
- Employee’s conduct must reflect the Company’s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct ethics and compliance program.
- Competency in new procedures is gained in a timely fashion as they are incorporated into the department’s practices.
- Other duties as assigned, including periodic assignment as a shift’s Lead Therapist.
