Network Engineer 3

The Network Engineer 3 role is onsite at the contractor facility in Columbia, MD, and supports activities at NBP 320 and distributed locations. Compensation is not specified. The role contributes to reliable operational systems through engineering, technical documentation, modernization planning, and coordination with government and contractor stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Configure, deploy, integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista equipment, firewalls, and cryptographic devices
• prepare and test equipment before deployment
• support upgrades and fielding
• monitor network health and resolve incidents
• develop network designs and architecture
• document configurations and changes
• contribute to modernization and systems integration
• provide technical guidance
• participate in on-call rotation and occasional OCONUS travel.
