Pet Playcare Attendant

The Pet Playcare Attendant role is onsite in Austin, TX. Compensation is $14–$16 per hour. Austin Urban Vet Center operates a boarding and play-care facility for dogs and cats in downtown Austin. The attendant provides daily care and supervision for pet guests, supports safe play, and maintains clean suites and shared spaces. The role also communicates with clients and teammates and records care notes in facility software.

What you'll do

• Rotate dogs in and out of playgroups
• check pets in and out
• provide customer service
• prepare pet meals
• supervise playgroups
• clean suites and cat litter boxes
• sanitize the indoor dog play area
• do laundry and maintain facility cleanliness
• communicate with teammates about needs and routine changes
• administer medications, including injections
• enter notes into software
• take dogs to the downstairs veterinary clinic as needed.
