Professional Land Surveyor

Job overview

The Professional Land Surveyor role is onsite in Las Vegas, NV, with compensation of $125,000–$185,000 per year. EPC STAFF Acquisition and Development, LLC supports land surveying and mapping work for public and private projects and clients. The surveyor prepares survey documents, maps, legal descriptions, and construction survey data. Accurate interpretation and computation of field information supports land development, parcel and easement acquisition, and construction staking projects.

What you'll do

• Prepare detailed drawings using civil, survey, and computer-aided drafting programs
• interpret field notes and sketches
• perform survey computations
• produce topographic surveys using conventional, GPS, terrestrial, and aerial LiDAR data
• prepare ALTA/NSPS surveys, records of survey, parcel maps, final maps, and related documents
• prepare legal descriptions and exhibits
• compile title information
• pre-calculate construction survey data.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or related discipline; active California Professional Land Surveyor license; AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required; GIS experience and land development project experience preferred.
