The Swim Instructor role is onsite in Clawson, MI, with starting pay of $15.50 per hour or more. Aqua-Tots Swim School teaches children to swim and develop water safety skills. The instructor teaches children of different ages and skill levels, helping them build swimming ability and confidence through lessons, feedback, and a safe pool environment. The position includes 4–6-hour shifts teaching 8 or 9 consecutive classes and availability for one weekend shift from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

What you'll do

• Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels
• create and implement lesson plans
• conduct group and individual lessons
• provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• track student progression through levels
• ensure participant safety in the pool area
• maintain a clean and organized teaching environment
• attend monthly in-service training
• follow safety guidelines and school procedures
• provide customer service to guests.
