The assistant teacher supports teachers and the director in maintaining a safe, caring classroom and delivering developmentally appropriate learning activities. The role helps implement curricula, observe and document children’s progress, communicate with parents, and support children’s daily routines and development.

• Assist with curriculum activities and encourage children’s participation

• support daily transitions from home to the center
