Yard Technician I

The role prepares, organizes, transports, and maintains equipment and tools, while keeping the assigned area clean and safe. It also supports accurate handling of equipment and freight documentation and notes physical damage when equipment is received.

What you'll do

• Load and unload trucks, distribute and secure loads properly, transport non-DOT equipment, prepare equipment for rent, organize equipment and tools, maintain a clean and organized work area, keep the forklift, pallet jack, and pressure washer in good working order, match equipment with delivery tickets or freight documents, perform minor maintenance or cleaning, note physical damage on freight documents, and perform other assigned tasks. Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• driving non-DOT company vehicles to and from clients is required.
