This role exists to provide safe and effective nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room, contributing expertise in circulating or scrub roles until the patient is transferred to recovery.

What you'll do

• Oversee instrument and equipment set-up
• Coordinate and oversee room during a case as circulator
• Facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures
• Utilize appropriate body mechanics in moving patients
• Manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia
• Review charts for completeness.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
